Rock Week

It's every persons dream at some point to become a rock star, and this summer we can help make that happen! Rock Week uniquely allows every participant to learn Drums, Guitar, Bass, AND Vocals - no experience necessary. All instruments and equipment are provided, so just turn up, and rock out! Every student will have the opportunity to learn each instrument in small groups, coming together to form one ultimate band, improving their skills and abilities as they rotate around the different sections. This packed week provides the opportunity to develop skills in teamwork, listening, coordination, and creativity, whilst also improving self confidence, concentration, and discipline. The week ends with a performance where children have the opportunity to play the songs they have learnt to all friends and family. Children will need: - a packed lunch - a water bottle - their own guitar/bass/drumsticks if they already own one and would like to bring it in. No experience or formal training is necessary to join in with this action packed week! Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment! Every day runs from 9am until 4pm and we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. The week takes place at Shirehampton Public Hall, and there will be a performance at 4pm on the final day open to all friends and family. We are able to accept childcare vouchers as means of payment.
